The
raised bed was replanted in the autumn of 2004, following
the felling of a large and rather ugly 50’ Norway
Spruce, which has been replaced with the “dwarf”
sequoia, Sequoiadendron giganteum ‘Pygmeum’.
Surrounding planting includes low growing shrubs in mainly
blues and whites, with some accents in deep pink. The
drystone walls of the bed provide a home for trailing
plants.
